I literally could not care less whether you like me or not.

But it can be important for vegan activists and people advocating for veganism to be likeable, just from a communications perspective.

This guy’s views are problematic to many people and they distract from the real issue and will deter people from taking this movement seriously. To me that’s more “annoying” than anything else and yeah, it’s why lots of people hate vegans.

Veganism’s biggest deterrent is vegans. I’m not talking about whatever you’re on about- you can still go vegan if you hate us, or whatever. We’re still the ones advocating so it’s actually important for people to stop saying dumb shit like this.
