Even though we lost today, I'm glad we got to give the Bengals their 25th straight season without a playoff win!

It's just hard to have love for the bengals fans on Reddit as a whole after the amount of shit we see. Forget the fact they're our rivals which obviously means there's not a lot of love in the first place. A way too large majority of people in that sub only talk trash and the amount of hate upvoted to the top of the sub (rather than actual discussion or engaging threads) is crazy.

This game in particular was a big eye opener. I think I saw maybe one or two bengals fan admit that it was a good game and the bengals threw it, but dozens upon dozens making excuses. The amount of people I saw defending burfict was very discouraging. People defending Pacman wasn't as bad but still pretty questionable. People saying that it was bullshit that martavis' catch wasn't overturned even tho dean blandino said it should've been while conveniently forgetting that blandino called shaziers hit legal while they bitched about that.

It just feels that with the majority of bengals fans here you just absolutely can't have a conversation with them. You're either going to get auto downvoted and shit talked or they're gonna ignore all facts and just blindly defend their team. It's just disheartening.

There are certainly bengals fans who are intelligent and decent and will give their team a good name, it's just unfortunate that those people so often get drowned out by the other side. I can honestly say that I've never hated the bengals more in my life than I have in the last two years (moreso this year than last) and that hatred is almost entirely due to the fans I've seen on r/NFL and in the steelers sub after first coming to r/NFL before last season.
