Is it even worth trying out commisions anymore?

If your interactions with AI art people has been passive aggressiveness to harassment, we have had drastically different interactions with them.

Have you actually tried talking to someone who's really into AI art? Not calling them soulless, or people who disrespect the craft, or idiots, or whatever, but seeing why they're interesting in AI art in the first place?

'Cause when Stable Diffusion released their beta test, I did. And people are excited because it allows more people to create than ever. Several people said it's going to revolutionize the game art industry (which it probably will), and others just expressed excitement about finally being able to get fancy-looking art of their OCs.

But, above all else, people said it's about the money. It sucks ass, but people need cash to live. And in between spending 25 bucks of your limited spendable income a month to get thousands of well-rendered, albeit somewhat generic looking, art of your OC, and spending 25$ to get a sketch off of fiver, which would you really choose?
