It has happened a few times to me, less and less to the point it's very rare now. But it happened twice to me in the same night, while visiting Madrid in 2017. The first one I got buzzed into the building, walked up to his floor, and he was waiting for me in the hallway, outside of his apartment. Even from 10+ meters away, I could tell he looked nothing like his pics. So I just turned around and left. Problem is it was one of those buildings that need a key to get out. So he had to buzz me out. The second one, happened right after. Guy looked pretty hot. I told him I had just been catfished, and joked he better be real because I had walked out on someone. He got offended and everything. How dare I even raise the possibility of him lying. Long story short I get to the apt and this guy who didn't look at all like the pics either immediately starts trying to kiss me and when I push him away gets on his knees and tries to desperately unzip my pants. I pushed him away again. Told him I needed to use the bathroom. Locked myself in it. Washed my face. Got out and said, "I told you I was going to walk out if you didn't look like the pics," as I walked out. I called it quits after the second one that night. Decided better to spend time with my friends who were hosting me in Madrid.
