Ever been a victim of road rage because you lane filter/split?

Lane splitting / filtering is illegal in my state, so no. I have not. However I do want to give my views on this. While I understand that filtering can help prevent being rear ended, etc... I just think this whole concept of splitting/filtering is rude. I would not do it even if it was legal, or if I was in a state where it was legal. For the same reason why I don't jump in front of others in line at the grocery store. I don't care if I have a loaf of bread and someone has a full cart. I am going to wait my turn. If they offer for me to go ahead then sure. But it's just rude to cut in front of others. Right??? Even if we are faster and more nimble.
