Have you ever changed your mind on a food or type of cuisine after disliking it for years and why did you?

I love crunchy peanut butter. I mostly buy creamy kind since my spouse prefers it but he said the next jar we can get crunchy!

My food I changed my mind on was lima beans. When I was little, they used to feed us little cups of lima beans for snacks at daycare and I wasn't really into that. When I was like 19 I discovered edamame, and after enjoying those I was thinkin hey these kind of look like lima beans sort of, maybe I should give them another chance. And if I could like them, it would make those mixed vegetables more enjoyable to not have to pick around the lima beans. I ended up liking them and I bought bags of just lima beans and I would heat them up with butter and salt and have those for dessert for a couple years. I was makin up for all those little cups of lima beans I rejected before.
