Yeah my 21st/22nd? birthday. I've never really been a club goer but joined some friends that night. One girl brought out her friend from work. I got kind of drunk and decided to laser focus on this poor girl, not aggressively hitting on her, just talking, trying to build some rapport.

Anyway we start to leave and this girl realizes her friend already left and she's left in the city with no place to stay. So I offer to left her crash at my place. We take a cab to my neighborhood and grab some food at the all night diner and the ice finally breaks. We just have fun talking, we spent a good 5 minutes laughing at a small incident with a plate of just pickles we drunkenly ordered, I can't remember ever laughing that hard.

We finish up and head back to my place where, even though I had mentioned it, she was a bit surprised to find out I still lived at home and was actually just offering her a place to crash, not trying to sleep with her.

The morning was a bit awkward but we talked some more and she left me her number. Being an idiot I thought she was just being polite, I mean who wants the guy who still lives at home to call? So I thought it best not to bother her again.
