Have you ever met a someone with at least 5 years of accounting experience who is genuinely passionate about accounting?

I have been in public accounting for 10 years, I am a manager at a mid sized firm.

All my teammates and directors will tell you that I am passionate about being in public accounting. I always carry a smile and never give bullshit pressure to my team.

This is all because of the acting skills I acquired over the past 10 years, I really really don't like this and been trying to move into an accounting education related role since start of this year.

I agree to an extent that there are parts of this job I am good at and passionate about, especially teaching my staff and educating clients on accounting softwares and their businesses finances.

Even when you found a part of your job you like, the pressure and hours of public accounting will make it another thing you want to rush through on your unsustainable to do list.
