Have you ever re-dated an ex?

Yes I have.

We dated briefly for a couple months in college before she ended it saying she didn't feel the same and just wanted to be friends. We didn't end up really staying friends and I didn't speak to her until about 3 years later when I was in my second year of Uni and her in her last.

We became pretty good friends and hung out a lot the Summer before heading to Uni and kept in touch via Skype. It wasn't until just before Easter the next year that she was out drinking one night and she text me saying 'I want to fuck you', I laughed about it and chalked it up to being drunk that I received that text so I wait to the next day. Found out she did mean it, and was kind of elated as my feelings were resurfacing for her from college.

We became FWB's for a bit until I confessed that I liked her much more than that. So we dated for a couple months until I found things that I wasn't so keen on. She argued for no reason a lot of the time, like pointless bickering, and then this really moody behaviour started to appear. I did talk to her about this but she got all defensive and appeared offended when I was genuinely trying to figure out whether something had happened to drastically change her from the happy, funny person I started dated in college and recently at this point.

Then I found out that she wasn't telling any of her male friends that she was dating anyone and I kind of hit the roof a bit here. I asked her about it and she said that 'whenever I tell guys that I'm in a relationship then they don't like to talk to me anymore'...to which my reply was they probably aren't trying to be your friend then. So after thinking for a couple days and talking to her, I told her I couldn't be in a relationship anymore and ended it. Haven't spoken to her since which I'm completely fine with. I do miss our friendship before we started re-dating but oh well, it's better than not dating her.
