Every other retail store is hiring....and they look favorably on walmart experience. Whatever job title you have at walmart they'll bump you up one job title just because you're used to handling their weekly sales on a daily basis.

Since I've left walmart I've gone on a lot of interviews and just about all of the people interviewing me are "walmart rejects" and they all say grocery is the worst retail business because margins are extremely small and volume is high. No other business pushes "accountability" like the grocery business.

Find a job in a GM store. You can usually tell them your wage and they'll match it based on your experience. I'm personally getting paid more and have a higher job title for a much easier job.
