Most of my partners have been nerds with the exception of a few people, my ex husband included in that exception. I have dated only one nerd that turned out to be a crazy incel, which was a very VERY bad experience, it came to fruition because I chose to ignore some big red flags.

My boyfriend now is the biggest nerd of them all, and I love it. And I love him. It is so great to be with someone passionate about things. My ex husband did not have passions or hobbies. It is such a great contrast. He is a big sweetheart and yes, maybe not the most romantic sometimes, but he shows his love in other ways. And 100% accepts me for who I am.

Also, being a big giant nerd myself, it’s great to share some common interests with someone.
