Have you ever walked out of a movie, and if so, why?

My GF is usually an EXCELLENT judge of SciFi.

I mean she loves Star Trek Deep Space 9, Stargate Atlantis, The Expanse...

We're talking very good and decent quality SciFi here!

But... for some reason, she raves about Battlefield Earth... owns a few copies in various formats over the years... and rewatches it a couple of times per year, and always says, "I don't understand why so many people hate this movie!?"

I can't figure that out.

But... then again, I guess I shouldn't judge because I haven't even watched it once, given the reviews... So before I make fun of her each time I catch her watching it, I should probably watch it at least once... but... I don't think so!
