Have you ever worked with a genius engineer?

Interesting, i am an inventor/entrepreneur and i definately have (a); i won't consider myself a genius or to the extent of the person you said by any chance but i can visualize/create/solve complex mechanisms/ideas in my mind, it is similar to Tesla but not as potent. I used this to design the mechanisms of a mechanical ventilator i built for my degree project couple of years ago. I have used it for multiple inventions I designed.

It is like I can see the mechanisms moving in my mind, constantly coming up with new ideas. If I have to solve a design problem or invention, i can't get it out of my mind until there is a working solution. Even though I am okay at maths, the spatial-visualization made it easier for me to learn complex maths/science/engineering subjects like; statics, physics, fluid mechanics, electronics, mechanism design, multivariable calculus, analytical geometry etc. I have more of a creative designer-inventor's mind than say pure engineering.

I have met someone I would say is a genius in CAD design, he trained me at my first job as a product design engineer. This guy didn't have any formal education in engineering but boy he could design almost anything. From sheet metal, machinist, painter, industrial design, injection molding, plastics parts design, GD&T, tolerance stackups to mechanical design, he was an elite CSWE/CSWP/ Autodesk Inventor expert on CAD/Product design engineering. Everyone comes up to him when they have a design problem or an idea, he was the star. He could look at a blueprint and instantly tell you if their is a fault in the design.

Another friend of mine got his master's degree at 18 years old. He Studied BS in Mechatronics and MS in electrical engineering/computer science. This prodigy can look at a complex programming code and easily debug it. He made the smartest engineering students in the school feel dumb. He taught himself; C++, JS, hacking, embedded systems, robotics etc. He is a hacker, programmer, he built multiple apps before he got into engineering school.
