Every career seems saturated. I can't get a job and beyond retail and I'm starting to give up on the idea of having a "career". What do I do? Anyone else in the same situation?

You need to change your attitude. The idea that there are "no more opportunities" or that "old people took all the jobs" is honestly ridiculous. I don't even have a degree. I studied and got my A+. I got helpdesk job. Then i moved completely across the country and got another helpdesk job. Then I learned javascript and got a developer job. Now I'm at my second developer job. All of this took place over 5 years. You just have to get out there and get at it. Find something you want to do and pursue it. There are literally thousands upon thousands of jobs on indeed right now, everything from office jobs to construction to management, anything you can think of. Just apply and keep apply and keep applying and keep applying. While your applying keep learning more. People usually just but those "requires x amount experience" on job listings to try and weed out the low hanging fruit. You can still apply anyways. Almost every job I've had in the past 5 years had more "requirements" than I knew. Just go for it. Quit blaming your parents or blaming other generations. You have to go out and claw your way into where you want to be in life.
