I recently had a convo with a male family member regarding drunk hookups. I argued if you’re starting to slur your words and feel sick, you can’t consent. His argument? “Was there flirting history beforehand? If there was, it was just a mistake.”

You know what I got from that convo? He’s hooked up with girls he had no business hooking up with, so he tried to make it sound justifiable so he doesn’t have to feel guilty for his own previous actions.

Most victims are really not lying about it. The few lies become the loudest stories, and everyone freaks out thinking that a majority of rape victims lie.

You’ve defended the accused so hard in this thread, it is making me think that you’re protecting your own biases of your own behaviors.
