Every person I’ve mentioned my adhd to also has it

As a software developer diagnosed with ADHD (Inattentive), and I have suspicions about there being some symptoms that might be more autistic-in-nature, software is honestly great conditions with the right companies. At least in my experience in WFH. Never worked in an office.

If they don't monitor your screen(time), you essentially have 8 hours in which you can do 2-4 hours of work mostly unmonitored and unscheduled.

The flipside to this is the interview process is rough for me (and others). I don't memorize things unless I use them repeatedly. Some interviews are basically dependent on rote memorization of things you will likely never touch in your job at any point.
