Like they're allergic to asking for all the shit they need at one time.

And waitress A needs change, and waitress B needs me to void something, and waitress C needs me to put the happy hour discount on table 71, and waitress M wants to know if I can make a ginger tea martini, and waitress Z wants to know what kind of Rye we have even thought it's been the same fucking 3 Rye whiskeys for the entire time this place has been open.

So yeah, you get vodka soda instead of vodka tonic because who the fuck orders vodka tonic.
