Why is everyone here so negative about moving to India?

Indians of my generation have started hating this family and community oriented society. It’s not what it looks like from the US, but when you grow up in India being a part of this family and community oriented society, you see how it takes a toll on you and snatches away your freedom and independence. Indians can’t do shit on their own, they’re judged all over.

  • Get married to the person of your caste/social status etc and do it asap. And then have a kid asap.

  • The restrictions on girls in India till they’re married! Massive. And after that, they’re the property of their husbands according to society.
