Everyone loves jury duty!

I mean, sure, I agree that it's not ideal. A warning is something that is necessary. But then again, how can you complain about a week long commitment that is mandatory while they've been spared from a commitment (which you mostly can't even get out of) that is at least 32x longer? It's like if the majority of the world was having to live without running water and then the person complaining that he sometimes can't shower daily. Yes, it can be a problem and it's healthy to complain. But it's also important to actually put yourself in a more global perspective. I was aggressive in that post because I might have to stop my university studies, lose not $1000 in potential revenue, but instead around $4576-$37323 in revenue (if the wage was same). Not to mention that earning a $1000 a week is quite a lot, considering you don't have to pay for food, electric, water and heating in the meanwhile.

So, yeah, it's fine to be concerned, but a papercut is not a big deal, especially if there's a few people with gunshot wounds next to you.

But that's just me. I'd personally be thrilled to help dispense justice. To reduce the slack that others have to pick up because of you.
