Why is everyone so pissed off in here?

I mentioned my own issues because you implied just being white around white people assures you social acceptance. That's not true and also you have to consider that any time you're rejected or even just feel rejected you're automatically going to attribute that to being mixed. Sometimes people don't like me and it bothers me, if I had that as a goto I'd use it. Instead I just don't know why, maybe they're assholes, maybe I did something else and don't know.

Given the problems you've outlined in this thread I can imagine that there are a lot of ill adjusted hapas out there, you're a group of people who all share one at least one complicated card in your hand I admit I never thought it would be a big deal until i came here but whatever I'm sure like other things it can be well played and doesn't mean you have to be unhappy or celibate. That takes more than just being a hapa.

I also hear a lot of rage against your parents that they didn't understand you or looked at you like an alien, denigrated your asian heritage in front of you and even right to your faces. The parts that really scares me is the shit that your parents did innocently like neglecting your social life in favor of studying. Would you feel like I was whitening you up by getting you a set of weights? I don't want my kid feeling like that.

I can't help shit like white and asian girls having a bias against asian dudes any more than I could help if I had a child who inherited my severe ADHD or the schizophrenia and diabetes in my family.

I can at least be a parent who tries to understand problems I didn't have to deal with and have a happy kid, I can make sure that he gets a chinese identity just the same as jews hold on to theirs and I can make sure he's raised to socialize like an american if that's where we raise him. You guys don't know happy hapas? I find that hard to believe all these hapa guys at work with smiles on their faces are all going home and crying in private?

I find that hard to believe.
