I reset a bit before too! When I thought the only new thing was the Roost, but it was still enough for me to reset because I thought, well if we’re finally getting a big update like the Roost, hopefully others will soon follow.

I know it sounds weird but Klaus, Beardo,and Chops are the three villagers I was hoping for (Marshal was also acceptable because he was my visitor on my last island and I fell in love with him). I think getting one of the weird/ugly (not ugly to me but I’ve seen tons of other people call them ugly) smug villagers as the first campsite villager is so fitting and fun.

I ended up getting Chadder, who I was disappointed with at first, but now that he’s been here a few days he has turned out to be super adorable.
