Everyone says it's coincidence but it's easy to write off when it's not you.

I mean, we all understand that streetlights are on timers to prevent them from overheating, we've all walked around at night and had a streetlight flicker off or back on. The thing is some people just have some kind of effect on electronics in general. I knew a guy at college who would cause any sort of lights to flicker, I have my friend who I've witnessed causing each streetlight flicker off as he went underneath and back on as soon as he'd passed them and he also has issues with stereos, tv's, etc. My friends mother, a Reiki master, has consistently had problems with electronics and I've told the story on here of how she went to use the desktop computer and completely fried the motherboard. My friend banned her mother from using any important electronics around the house because it was such an issue. She was actually pretty fine with it, she now currently lives in the middle of fucking nowhere in a cabin, so she's not very interested in modern living anyway.

My point is that some people, for one reason or another, seem to have an effect on lights and other electronic devices. I'm sure you think it's all hogwash and that's fine, I'm just relaying my own experiences with these sorts of people. I've witnessed it happening, enough so that I know it's not just weird timing or coincidence. I don't know what causes it, but there does seem to be a pattern where the individual has some kind of abilities. The guy at college was a beginner with energy healing/reading auras, the guy friend is clairvoyant/a medium, the friends mother is a Reiki master with a smattering of other abilities (she quit her insanely lucrative job as a stockbroker on wall street to pursue a financially unreliable life as a Reiki master, so she's not faking it for the money, that's for sure).

Hell, when my friend first told me about her mother's effect on electronics, I mocked the shit out of her. I was skeptical as hell, as anyone would be. It just seemed ridiculous. So trust me, I'm not a gullible person who desperately wishes paranormal shit to be real and will swallow anything to feed into some fantasy. I've seen and experienced enough shit that I kinda have to shrug my shoulders and say "Welp. What the hell do I know...".
