Everyone has a scar on their body from something dumb, they did as a child. What's your story?

In fifth grade, my young engineer friends and I put a recycling bin on a skateboard and decided to ride it down a hill. You had to make a pretty simple turn a short while in otherwise you’d risk going down a much larger dangerous hill. I volunteered to go first. Piloting our vehicle was not as easy as we thought and it did not go as planned. I was not able to make the turn off and ended up going down the massive hill. The ride lasted about 20 seconds and shortly after reaching what I can only assume was terminal velocity, the recycling bin fell off the skateboard. I was going pretty fast and ended up with severe road rash. I still have pretty large scars on both my knees and elbows.
