I know right.

In all honestly, i don't mind security measures as long as they make sense. If that means screening everyone, totally cool. But they are so fucking unfriendly and idiotic about it. Example: people like my husband and kids who don't have english as a first language, get screamed at for not understanding complicatedly worded questions. Somehow Frankfurt manages to process millions of non-german, non-english speakers per day without screaming at them, often simply for asking them to repeat a question more slowly. I remember one time my husband (highly educated, extremely smart and known as being the top in his field) asked about a question on one of the forms and the American border control guy yelled "ya aren't too fucking intelligent, are ya!!!".

Just a huge pain in the ass, on any given day.
