?? If you are high elves you should have no money problem.

If you been stacking entrepenaur and got 5 armies of sisters of avalorn, then you can protect every base. up north that gets hit by the fleet. If you got the sisters at rank 7+, with lightning strike, you can actually autoresolve the battles with capture enemies for regen and be completely unharmed.

But i do see what you feel is the problem. And my suggestion would be that instead of having 100+ armies spawn in the middle of the ocean at that one spot, they should instead be spread around and hit the whole world at the same time. cus currently with 10-50x+ larger mod, they still follow bad campaign mechanics and sends most of their armies to the same settlement.
