I left out her suicide attempt, panic attacks, depression, night terrors, the four miscarriages she blamed on her “slutty” past, the fact she was friends with two rapists on Facebook until we realized they were, in fact, rapists, and the part where our marriage was sexless for years due to her low libido and vulvodynia, which started after her first post-marital rape in 2001. A previous girlfriend of mine was also raped, so I have never had sex with a woman who has not been raped. My wife is in her mid-forties and doesn’t even know how to give a hand job or blowjob, although she wants to get better at it. She is not at fault and I do not blame her. Of course, I wish she had told me when the first rape occurred in our marriage in 2001. Fifteen years to keep that to herself in a ball of shame! She blamed herself and withdrew from me for years, which we will not get back because they were stolen from us. Her supervisor no longer works directly with her. She hasn’t seen him in years, and he is apparently working on his second divorce. Of course I would love to get revenge, even if it’s only by getting him fired. We will figure out our options in the days and weeks to come. We will start therapy as soon as possible, maybe tomorrow. She has never received therapy for her rape in 1991, although I have long encouraged her to do so. Naturally, we are also trying to have a baby. I am filled with rage and sadness.

tl;dr: Aside from me, her on and off boyfriend at age 22, and one guy she had a brief fling with in 1996, my wife was probably raped by about 25 men. She will never know the true number. And she has never cheated on me.
