That's not how acting works, if she had another job or another thing she had to do then yes, it wouldn't be silly to give it up, or... she knew when she signed on that she wouldn't be there forever. Also Clare wasn't "fired" either, being FIRED from a job means to be cut off completely with no prior warning. I SEVERELY doubt that they are just making these choices and cutting these girls off without even having a discussion about it. They are actors, this is television, and you sound like a dumbass. Why would they comment on the recast? It's spoilers, they aren't going to talk about Ivy's recast until Ivy is back in the storyline. And in Clare's case, it's been over a year and there's no reason to talk about the recast because everyone knows why they did it.
