Ex- Big4: Why didn't you like industry?

Such bs. I’m in public. I enjoy it. 12+ years. Partner track. I dictate my own pay now. Industry unless you get options, you will eventually cap yourself at how much you can get paid. Public, there is no cap. Bring in more business, get paid more money. Constantly challenged. Always new projects. Great career. There is no right way of industry or public. It’s what you prefer. There is no anomaly if you love or hate public or industry. It’s simply what you want from life. Making 200k or whatever industry people cap themselves at is unacceptable to me. 7 figures is attainable in public, big 4, large regional, but extremely hard in industry unless you get RSUs in your comp package.
