Ex-Republican judge murders her own party, buries them, and walks over to the democrats

Oh, look! It's a grammatically-coherent piece of writing about one random person's reasons for not supporting a particular politician. It contains no arguments beyond "Trump is racist," and while I agree that that is the case, it hardly resembles the absolute beat-down of arguments that constitutes a true murder. What's more, this individual doesn't even provide a source for her claim that Trump is racist. As it happens, everyone reading this should know exactly to what incident she is referring, but that's not the point - "everyone knows it's true" is one of the most dangerous phrases in the English language, and its use is so far removed from best practise in civil debate that this issue alone precludes this post from being a murder. Incidentally, this post wasn't written to be a murder, it was written primarily as an announcement of her decision, and secondarily as an explanation of said decision. It is nothing more than "orange man bad," because it was never meant to be more than that. And that's OK - not every Facebook post needs to be some deep, insightful defence of somebody's political thesis, but every political murder does need to reach that level of quality.

OP saw a post longer than five lines that criticised Trump, and rightfully guessed that Reddit would adore it. To OP, I hope that your oodles of karma are worth the increased partisanship and loss of quality that you have brought to this sub, and Reddit as a whole. I do believe that OP acted in good faith, and genuinely believed this post to be fit for the sub, so please don't interpret this as an attack on their character. Instead, this is my argument for why I believe that OP's decision to post was mistaken.
