You will notice in the first few minutes of the manifesto that the shooter talks about how the key problem the west is facing is declining birth rates due to hedonism and individualism. This is no coincidence; the shooter's manifesto was exclusively posted to 8chan, the epicenter of the right's resistance to Peterson. This manifesto, and 8chan's criticisms in general, are a rebuke of Peterson's insistence on individualism as the answer to tribalism by arguing that only one race is being subjected to individualism. Coincidentally, Peterson preaches individualism to a predominantly white audience, and to my knowledge has never encouraged the concept in any other demographic, notably the black community which has rates of tribalism so high that they vote as a racial block and come out by the hundreds within minutes of a police shooting happening in their neighborhood. This hypocrisy has fueled the 8chan conspiracy theory that Peterson is a jewish/un agent tasked with keeping whites from uniting under a racial identity.
