Examples of artist rising in fame through the stages they play at festivals

UM no

i was at camp bisco in 2010 and Bassnectar played mainstage and it was packed. lets not forget that camp bisco sold like 10,000 tickets that year, this was before festivals were like the popular thing to do too, back when shit was real and everyone was there for the right reasons. so most people from the fest were at that set, it was just half the size of any camp bisco since then. this was also before bisco kidz hated the fuck out of bassnectar too

it was most definitely NOT a daytime set either. Last time bassnectar had a daytime set at camp bisco was in like 2006 or 7. when his set started it was dark out. i remember this vividly bc his equipment was working for the first ~20 minutes and people were all kinda bugging out

this was back when lorin used to fucking kill it at festivals too. higher and higher into doctor P's remix of "reasons". fuck. so heavy

nectar played mainstage at Camp bisco, in the dark, in 2008 also. so nectars been mainstage at camp bisco basically since 8 years ago
