So excited to get these back! Italian born dad (Molise) and Italian-American mom (Sicily and Campania).... do they phase automatically ?!

My father is from Pachino (the very most southern point of Sicily). My mother is from Gela (south west).

My family history (as far as we knew) has deep roots in Sicily and we do not know of anyone in our tree that wasn’t Sicilian. My results were:

Sicilian: 64.2% Greek & Balkan: 2.8% Broadly Southern European: 13.3% Eastern European: 0.7% French & German: 0.3% Broadly Northwestern European: 0.1% Broadly European: 0.9%

Coptic Egyptian: 0.3% Egyptian: 0.3% Broadly Arab, Egyptian, & Levantine: 4.3% Iranian, Caucasian, & Mesopotamian: 1.2% Broadly Northern West Asian: 0.6%

North African: 1.1% Broadly Western Asian & North African: 8.1% Senegambian & Guinean: 0.3%

I’m buying the kit for my mom and hopefully by phasing with her it will open up a lot more of those ‘broadly’ categories. Especially the broadly Southern European at 13.1% and the broadly west Asian & North African at 8.1%.

Cheers!
