I mean you could literally kill every cow in The Netherlands and appropriate every farmers property it would do nothing on a global scale.

NL nitrogen emissions represent 4% of total EU. Compared just to China NL is .9% And worldwide it’s around .16%.

Worldwide emissions are increasing yearly (substantially more then projected cuts in NL) and this isn’t coming from Europe.

The truth is we in Europe and in particular the West HAVE and ARE doing a lot to fight climate change and preserve bio diversity. As it turns out there other actors in world who are not doing anything and produce more C02 then Europe/north America combined.

But sure kneecap your agriculture sector. Outsource your food supply. Demonise/ostracise sow discontent in an entire community.
