I just cant understand this at all... problems COULD arise but it's certainly not necessary... I'm in a long term relationship and have friends of the gender im attracted to and most of them ive never been attracted to and the one's i have at some point developed feelings of attraction to, well, it's been pretty fleeting because im in a relationship and i didnt even need to stop hanging out with the person for it to pass. The way i see it is if you're in a relationship that you want to be in, and one day you get a lil crush on a friend, you're just like, well, i want to be with my partner and am attracted to my partner so i indulge my attraction to my partner and not my attraction to my friend and have no problem not indulging the other thing or going down little rabbit holes in my head about it like i wouldve when i was a teenager or when ive been single... i mean, when youre an adult you figure out that attraction and crushes can start and end there with ease, especially if youre actually in a fulfilling relationship ...
