Expelled college students of Reddit, why are you expelled?

Think you guys all have it a bit messed-up.

There was a the "Greatest Generation", which was the generation that fought in World War II. Most of these people are already dead, some are just clinging to life by the edge.

The "Baby Boomers" is what came next. Soldiers came back and procreated like crazy, you know the story. They're defined as people born between 1943 and 1960. My dad, who's almost 60 now, is technically just at the late-edge of the boomers.

Generation X comes next. X-Gens were born in the 60's, 70's, and early 80.

Next comes my generation - Generation Y, also called echo-boomers because we're basically an aftershock to the boom of the babyboomers. This spans early 1980's to mid-1990's or sometimes 2000. I'm either a late millennial or a mid millennial depending on your definition.

Generation Z is kids today. Post-Millennials. I find myself curious about Gen-Z as I observe their behavior and... the fact that they'll never know life before the internet and all that. Their whole way of thinking is bout to be completely different, I can already see that much. Not that it's a good or bad thing.

Anyhow, the statement that "Every generation calls the last generation the worst" is wrong I'd say. I think most of us are pretty okay with the "Greatest" generation, and most Millennials and Gen-X find plenty of common ground. The Boomers specifically have a disproportionate number of members that seem to not live in reality and think you can just pull on bootstraps or whatever.
