Experience at iowa state

I’m going into senior year. Be okay with not being perfect. I have had 4 straight 4.0 semesters along with other high gpa semesters because I felt like my only worth was that number. I worked and worked and worked until I could no longer. It lead to burn out and a lot of mental anguish in my life. I ruined relationships so dear to me and I now hold much regret in my life. My word of advice is work hard and if you fall short, so what, you gave it your all. Don’t be like me and let it effect your entire time here in college. This past semester I have fell in love with the process rather than the result. I started to go out more when I have time and I have to be honest, that last month of school has been more fulfilling than any other time here. Join a club that you really love. I’m not a philosophy major but I have taken 3 classes and fell in love with it. Take advantage of the health services when you need it people are there to help you. It’s okay to not be okay but it’s never okay to suffer in silence.
