Experiences with Celexa?

I had a grand mal seizure within 12 hours of taking celexa and managed frontal lobe sezuires for close to three months following the initial grand mal.

I did fine on Zoloft when I gave antidepressants a second go a few years later.

Everyone is different and as much as my comment about the seizure may be intimidating, it isn't a reflection of the drugs affect on everyone. As for side effects as terrible as I experienced, I can give you a bit of insight. All in all, the seizure set me back quite a bit. I had to move home, across country to my parents to recover and couldn't work for about five months.

I don't regret trying celexa out but I wish I would have tested it out a little more cautiously.

Stay in touch with your doctor and stay proactive. If you have a hard time on celexa, don't be afraid of seeking professional help asap whether it be calling your doctor, therapist, pharmacist or even emergency services. Ask someone to monitor you for the first 24 hours just to be safe.
