Oh shit, I forgot there was a 4th crazy difference from dream to IRL. In the dream, it started with my friend and I meeting the guy at his California house (now I had met this guy a couple times before going to his house in Utah, but I don't think that was before my dream, so I may well have dreamed about this guy before meeting him, but didn't remember until visiting his Utah house).

In the dream, he asked us if we wanted to see his new house. We said yeah, so we all got into his truck (possibly his same truck IRL, not sure), and drove a literally 5 minute trip across town to this house. Of course, the house that was IRL, 2 states away, and we took the U-Haul.

Just insane stuff.
