Experimenting with pornosexuality. What do you guys think?

There are plenty of things that have been seen as mental disorders in the past that are now totally acceptable so I take my therapist with a grain of salt.

Is it specifically a sex therapist that you are seeing? A sex therapist should have addressed the fundamental concept of atypical variations with you so that you would take it seriously...

As far as gender relations go you if your partner is fully aware of the situation and happy with it then that's not problematic.

Having already said that I am not qualified to give you advice, and that this is just my opinion based on one course of human sexuality that I took in my undergrad as an elective to my B.Sc., I think this falls under the realm of mental disorder because paraphilias, atypical patterns of arousal that are problematic, are considered a mental disorder. And like I know that this is subjective to societal/personal norms of "problematic" which have changed with the times, but the fact that you are extending this sexual preference to affect how you interact and see actual women means its objectively problematic - for those around you and for society. If you don't value or invest in other people's emotional/physical needs you're in pyschopath territory. If you specifically don't value women's emotional needs you're in misogyny territory.

If this just stayed in your bedroom and was between you and your enthusiastically consenting partner that would be one thing, but you're saying its affecting your perception of others and I think that is objectivity a problem.

But again, just my layman opinion FWIW.
