Expert Mechwarrior attempts to shoot down LRMs with a PPC

If half the negative energy reaped on fellow players was used to help them, the game would be a heck of a lot more fun for everyone.

I honestly don't think so.

People were more receptive to help - or at least cooperation - in years past, but these days, there seem to be the relatively competitive-minded players (pretty much anyone that ever played in MRBC or some other league regardless of at which division), and those who just want to role-play that MechWarrior: Online is some sort of glorified table-top simulator (the eponymous 'Mech Dad' like in the video); the people in between these two extremes are few and far between.

The amount of negative flak for statements like, 'hey guys, let's stop rotating and just make a firing line at X' is absolutely unbelievable. Genuine advice delivered free of any negativity whatsoever is most often met with an entire team that definitely has VOIP enabled simply... well, ignoring you. Many times you will just get sass and sarcasm, if not outright 'lulz try hard' responses. I'll admit, when I get shit-talked just for trying to make suggestions, I'll fire back; I shouldn't, but it's pretty frustrating when people take attempts to secure a win as some sort of dire insult.
