Explain, authright.

The definition of an abortion includes the uterus.

If you want to go with the real medical definition of abortion it also includes fetus/embryo. Not zygote. Quote: An abortion is a procedure to end a pregnancy. It uses medicine or surgery to remove the embryo or fetus and placenta from the uterus. The procedure is done by a licensed health care professional. Source - the "abortion pill" doesn't cause abortions!

The medication to end an ectopic can also be the same meds for an abortion. But this and the definition is actually irrelevant to my original point - why do you make a distinction between the method used to perform an ectopic abortion when you don't think it's even an abortion? Quote from you "Removal of an ectopic pregnancy is not the direct killing of an unborn child (again, depending on the method)" --- What is the moral difference between a salpingectomy and salpingostomy? My baby example was meant to show how indirect v direct is a weak parameter.

Because even the strictest of pro lifers understand it is stupid to force a woman to carry a nonviable pregnancy full term when it is extremely dangerous to the mother.

Again, given the OP, it seems the strictest pro-lifers don't understand. They don't understand that by banning abortion they reduce access to even acceptable forms of abortion.
