This explains my recent trip to the lumber section

So your solution is to ruin more pieces of lumber that other people could take rather than asking for help or even just not making a mess or not be too rough with the lumber. Also it's kind of hard to not find a piece of lumber with knots cause almost every tree has branches. Most of the time people just don't like that piece of lumber and then ruin it by tossing it in the wrong pile. I have seen it. Nothing wrong with it just a normal piece of lumber. And he just tossed it into a whole different pile. And then another customer came over and tossed it back because he didn't understand why that piece was with all these other different pieces. There are no excuses for ruining other sellable lumber other than you feel like it's going to be cleaned by some other poor soul at some point but little do you know that they don't have anytime to clean that shit up during store hours so it stays a mess until overnight crew comes in and then they don't even get to it sometimes because they have other priorities to unload trucks. Restock and reorganize shelves. Yeah, it's their job but you don't make it any easier or less stressful throwing our product around like it's yours. If we were really strict we would enforce the you break it you buy it rule and you'd be stuck with a whole bunch of lumber that you didn't want but because you were so inconsiderate of product that was still useful you got stuck buying it.
