Explicit music in exercise/spin classes - questions from an asian american lady

If it bothers you then that's understandable and okay. But try to draw a line between what's generally not okay and what's not okay for you.

The n-word is widely discussed but if rappers black or white(!) decide to use it in their songs it is their responsibility, not yours. Imo discriminating other races is a problem, using a word or offending others with it is a very different thing.

It's nice that you care about others, but try not to obsess over ethnicities. I understand that especially in America your roots affect you and you might get treated differently. But generally it's better to be the person you are, you don't have to mention that you're Asian in every other sentence.

I know you're trying to be considerate, but take a bit pressure off of your shoulders, it will feel easier to breathe.
