It's taken 150 odd years of industry to get us to the point we're at.

We're going to need every single year available to us to undo it...

25 years is 25 years. We're only dealing with years here....we're not dealing in centuries or millenia. We're talking years.

Yes, it will make a difference. But protests are about brining the world together and building the sense of urgency. No, we're not going to have zero net by 2025...but poitical targets and goals are never met even when there's time to spare. In this instance there is no time to spare, so the demands have to be...well, demanding.

There's no end of climiate scientists joining and /or endorsing the protests. They wouldn't be doing that for shits and giggles.
