Ezekiel Elliott sues the NFL, claims a 'conspiracy' to 'hide critical information'

I might be alone when it comes to this, but in my opinion this whole thing is absurd on BOTH sides and I feel like it always is with this league AND it's players.

The league is inconsistent and spiteful, punishing those who deserve punishment (Josh Brown) far less than ambiguous situations where the player may not have even done something wrong.

The players involved in these cases, on the other hand, seem immature and vindictive. It seems like some of them don't realize that the millions of dollars they get for playing a game is a TRADE OFF for their privacy.

You can't do anything illegal and expect to get away with it. You can't use homophobic or racial slurs on a public forum. You can't go around ripping out women's breasts in public while drunk.

If I ripped a woman's breast out at a parade today I'd be fired on Monday. No questions asked. Hell, I'm surprised that isn't more of an issue to the NFL to be honest. A friend of mine at an old company got fired on the spot for saying he "didn't like" one of the VPs while on a company trip. Could you imagine the shit storm that would ensue if a player even got suspended for saying he didn't like Goodell?

On one side, you have a shitty employer that is essentially punishing its' employees to send a message to the public. On the other side you have employees who are ignorant of their position and their personal rights within their company.

TL;DR - The NFL has every right to do whatever the fuck it wants with it's employees, even when it's stupid and shitty. We all need to get the hell over it because literally every single other company does this on the planet.
