China does not currently have a meaningful counter to fifth gens other than their own limited fleet of fifth gens. They are working hard on making some, hence the DoD concern and rush to build more advanced systems, because the DoD is not interested in a fair fight.

I've participated in said exercises and predictions. Like I asked you: do you know what frequency band and polarization the F-35 is optimized to?

It's amazing how many of the general public still assume China is well behind the US, when they've already exceeded our capabilities in some areas.
