F/24/5'7" [197>187=10lbs] (3 weeks)

So it's a long story, but I was really really skinny. Made bad choices and over the course of a year went from 135 to 230lbs. It felt like overnight. I started to lazily lose weight last year, but then I got pregnant in May. I was 212 lbs. At the end of my pregnancy I was 235-240 I stopped checking. But at the end of her birth month (Feb 2018,) I was 210lbs. So the pregnancy didn't affect much, except my stomach.

I started to notice I was (slowly) losing weight from breastfeeding (I'm lucky) once I was 200lbs near the end of April. But I decided to speed things up, and I stopped drinking coke and started CICO/eating healthier. But I still eat enough to maintain a milk supply. Just more healthy, and a little less. They say to do 1800 calories when breastfeeding, but I get pretty full with graze eating 1400~ throughout the day. Like a low-cal snack every few hours and then a meat and vegetable for dinner. I still have an oversupply so I'm not worried.

I started dieting seriously on May 1st and took the before pics at 197lbs. The after pics are from today 187lbs. So 10lbs in 20 days. About -20~ pounds at almost 4months postpartum. But about 40 pounds since my HW of 230. I wouldn't include my pregnancy weight as a loss, because it literally was all baby and placenta and other birthing stuff, and it was gone pretty immediately after I gave birth. But my stomach is still big from it...

I know it's not much yet, but I'm posting this here for accountability to keep going. My first goal is 160lbs. Second is 140. Ultimate is 135. The real win will be when I can wear my wedding rings again! I plan to incorporate exercise once I plateau, but for now CICO and breastfeeding are still working and I don't want to hinder my milk supply yet.

I'm discouraged by lack of stomach loss, but I guess it will come. It actually looks flatter/better naked than in the shorts because it kind of pushes the fat up, but I used some older/tighter shorts so I can continue wearing them as I lose weight.

Ive gone from a size 14/16 to a 10 now. Oh I also got to stop using my nursing bra extender, so that was nice! I don't mind boob loss, I miss my small guys. The extender is on in the before pics and off in the after. My bra is on wonky because I don't usually wear it and I threw it on for both photos that I had to snap super quickly because #momlife
