2) Talk to your boyfriend. And by talk, there is not room for compromise on your feelings.

3) This the most important and has to be addressed with a full understanding that these people will be in your life forever.

However you decided to handle letting his family know you read their comments, make sure you act above reproach. Give them no reason to react negatively or give them cause to turn it around on you.
