  1. Calorie counting: find out how much you need to eat. Count no matter what. Move past days where you go over your budget.
  2. Nutrition: because I had to eat less I learned how to eat. I include more protein than I used to now. I used to eat mostly carbs and they made me feel fatigued and I had brain fog all the time. I now at least have to chicken in 1/3 meals. The other meals can have less protein but I prefer to eat things like greek yogurt and tofu because I have egg intolerance.
  3. Exercise: i started off with walks then I joined the gym in june of 2022 when my weight loss plateaued and I couldn’t/didn’t want to eat less.
  4. Forgive yourself and keep going. Being really sick because of pcos and gut issues made me reach rock bottom and I had no other option but to do this. Find your reason, one that will never change.
