I agree with you on all this, which is why I am 100% vegan. You mention feta, and that you occasionally eat chicken or fish. Not sure if you eat eggs? I just don't see how you can reconcile consuming any animal products (even "free range" and "organic" sources are highly problematic, and realistically 99% of animal products people consume are NOT free range anyway) and the idea that food has energy and affects our energy.

There is a very, very small percentage of people that do require certain animal proteins or have very severe allergies which makes a plant-based diet hard, but 99.9% of people do not fall into these categories and do have easy access to high-quality plant foods. Saying "I'm going to eat cheese because this is honoring my body's desire" is just not a good enough justification to consume dairy.

All my opinion of course, like you say, you do you boo. I think that there are many paths to health and each person has to find their own way. Just curious on your thoughts.
